Updating tracker in bit torrent
If you're looking for troubleshooting instructions, see I can't update my tracker.First make sure your tracker is charged, since a firmware update can take several minutes and is demanding on the battery.
On the dashboard, click the gear icon in the top right and select your tracker to find the firmware version.
Note that with Fitbit Blaze and Fitbit Surge you can swipe to the Settings screen to see your current firmware version.
You're also adding bandwidth and load to trackers, for no gain, so you're actually harming trackers. (if you want to see the maths just from TPB putting 4 tracker on every torrent, I did it here.
With 50M peers, it works out about 20Tb of useless duplicated data PER TRACKER, PER MONTH. and a single torrent that you download need a different tracker list..
In a bittorrent client the first response from the tracker will contain a list of peers.
